About Connor Lorence

Connor Lorence teaches beginner to advanced tuba, euphonium, trombone, French horn, and trumpet, creating engaging, personalized lessons that encourage curiosity and musical growth. His student-centered approach connects music to each student’s interests, helping them develop strong technique, critical thinking, and independent problem-solving skills. Connor draws from classical and marching band experience to help students build confidence and musicianship while enjoying the learning process. He prepares students for school band placements, ILMEA District and All-State auditions, solo and ensemble competitions, and college auditions. Connor has experience teaching private lessons and coaching school brass students, with performance experience in orchestral and chamber ensembles.
