Court Tatum is true maestro of rhythm and beats. Born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia. Court embarked on his musical odyssey in the 6th grade when he discovered his passion for percussion in band class. With an innate gift for rhythm, he swiftly ascended through the ranks, becoming a luminary in the musical community.
His star shone brightly as he not only secured coveted spots in district honor bands but also earned his place in all-state bands and even the prestigious Governor's Honors Program. Versatility became his hallmark as he fearlessly delved into a kaleidoscope of genres, mastering classical, jazz, rock, gospel, R&B, hip hop, and beyond.
Professionally, he's a force to be reckoned with. His dynamic skills led him to strike the perfect rhythm with audiences aboard Carnival cruise ships, set the tone for corporate and wedding bands, infused soul into gospel choirs, and added his magic touch to praise and worship bands. Whether it's the electrifying energy of rock, the soulful vibes of R&B, or the intricate complexities of jazz, he effortlessly adapts and excels.
But his musical journey doesn't end there. Sharing his wisdom and expertise, he's also an exceptional teacher. His experiences on the big stage, in intimate jazz combos, and everywhere in between shape his teaching style, making him a mentor who imparts not just technique, but the heart and soul of music itself.
From the classroom to the concert hall, his life is a symphony of passion, dedication, and the unrelenting pursuit of rhythmic perfection.
