About Daniel Minogue

Education: B.A. Music, Stony Brook University M.M. Music Composition, The Hartt School

Performance Experience: As an accomplished saxophonist, Daniel is the co-founder of the international modern music group, DUO Semente, and has performed with the Stony Brook Symphony Orchestra, the funk group The Brothers Nylon, and as a soloist with the Stony Brook University Orchestra.

Teaching Experience: I have been teaching enthusiastic young musicians privately since I was eighteen. I have been a teacher's assistant at the college level and worked with the. Hartford Symphony in 2019.

Teaching Philosophy: First, have fun and find what you love about music. From there we can build the foundations of a strong and confident musician.
