      Education: Studied jazz drumming with Amy Cafaro and Jim Hall in Columbia, SC.
      Performance Experience: Performed on tour in front of live audiences and on television. Played numerous festivals and converts with various artists including Skip Pearson, Loretta Holloway, Calvin Edwards, Wycliffe Gordon, Ravi Coltrane, Ralph Alessi, Art Lande, and Rob Foster. Toured with Luther Ingram, Suzanna Pavlovsky, and Claude Rhea.
      Teaching Experience: Teaching children and adults at all levels of experience for decades.
      Teaching Philosophy: I provide students with drumming methodology, while developing hand synchronization and giving industry knowledge through professional training. I cater to the many needs of every student virtually and in person; instruction includes drumming in all styles, including but not limited to jazz, blues, rock, reggae, latin, R&B, soul, and funk.

      I'm a dedicated and innovative professional drummer with over 60 years of experience performing nationally and teaching on all levels.  Adept at encouraging creativity while monitoring individual student progress.  Committed to comprehensive learning and masterful performance.  I have a great attitude and I always display humility.
