Get to know Dave
Dave Hill teaches beginner to advanced guitar, electric bass, and ukulele, as well as beginner to intermediate piano and banjo. His fun, personalized lessons combine structured curriculum with songs students are excited to learn. Dave teaches all musical styles while incorporating music reading, improvisation, songwriting, theory, and creativity, adapting as each student’s interests grow and change. He encourages students to build confidence through recitals, school bands, jam sessions, and playing with friends. Dave studied at the Cornish School of the Arts and Guitar Institute of Technology and has over 30 years of experience as an instructor with Musicians Institute.
