Get to know David Cushing
A staple of the Boston music scene for decades, Mr. Cushing has been a featured soloist in opera and oratorio with The Boston Symphony Orchestra, Boston Lyric Opera, Emmanuel Music, Odyssey Opera, Boston Modern Orchestra Project and the Boston Youth Symphony Orchestra as well as nationally and abroad. He studied at The University of New Hampshire, The New England Conservatory of Music and Boston University's Opera Institute. David has taught privately throughout his career and enjoys teaching classical, musical theater and popular techniques as well as coaching various styles. He also sings with the Boston-based vocal band Similar Jones, and plays drums and sings in the band Ladybird.
