About David L Baise

A native from deep in the heart of New Jersey Springsteen territory, Baise has been active  musically for many years.

Born a Leo (we wear our hair like manes! he says) Baise enjoys sharing music with all interested parties, with confidence and 

a sunny sense of humor. Equal parts instructor and coach, he says that “if the students practice as they should, then we both can 

have a BLAST.” Has taught at Rutgers University and Princeton University. Currently a member of Society of Etnomusicology, and the American Anthropology Associatio.
