David "Dave" Mazon studied trumpet performance at the University of Georgia under the instruction of Albert Ligott(New York Philharmonic) and Fred Mills(Canadian Brass)
dDave is a very active professional trumpeter with 20 years teaching and performing experience in the Central Ohio Area. While in college he played with all the top ensembles and
was a winner of the Albert Ligotti Memorial Scholarship given to the most impressive undergraduate trumpeter. Before moving to Ohio he had performed with the Charleston Symphony(SC),
Savannah(GA) Symphony, Athens(GA) Symphony and was a member of the Athena Brass Quintet. In Ohio he has performed with the Central Ohio Symphony, New Albany Symphony
Opera Project Columbus and is currently the principal cornet of the Dublin Silver Brass Band, a competitive British Style Brass Band which competes in major competitions as well as in the U.K
He is one of the most popular trumpet teachers in Central Ohio and teaches a very large studio of promising young students.
