About David Stoltz

David is a highly experienced guitar teacher from West Hartford, Connecticut, with a deep passion for blues and jazz. With roots dating back to the 60s, David's musical journey has been influenced by legendary bands such as the Allman Brothers. In fact, David struck a chord with Jaimoe, a member of the Allman Brothers, during an open mic night in his hometown, which led to them playing together in various bands for years. David's talent was recognized by Dickey Betts, another member of the Allman Brothers, who invited him to join his newly forming band in 2000. After playing together for four years, David joined Jaimoe's Jasssz Band, where he continues to perform and has produced 3 albums with them and more to come. David has also produced two cds of his own; Dangerous Canoes and More Dangerous Canoes.
