About Don Tenenblatt

Don Tenenblatt is a piano and voice teacher who works with beginner to advanced students, helping them build confidence, musical understanding, and expressive performance skills. His lessons focus on strong sight-reading, music theory, technique, and articulation while encouraging students to explore styles like classical, pop, musical theater, and contemporary music. Voice students develop healthy vocal technique and resonance while working on music they enjoy. Don creates a patient and encouraging environment where students can grow at their own pace and work toward performances, auditions, or personal musical goals. Don holds music degrees from Yale University and Rutgers University and has decades of experience coaching and performing in opera, ballet, symphony, and musical theater settings.
