Teaching Philosophy: I believe that anyone can be taught to play an instrument if the desire is there. Lessons should be fun for the student and the teacher. Learning to read music is vital and many people can be taught to improvise, transpose and "play by ear" as well. Lessons are more than just "lessons". It helps to develop the student in many areas of life.
