Get to know Dylan
Dylan Barnes is a professional guitar player originally from Long Beach California. While at Berklee College of Music he studied with numerous professional Jazz guitar players including Tim Miller, Bruce Foreman, Freddie Bryant, and Norman Zocher. His performance history includes playing in weddings throughout the northeast, Sunday services for the Fellowship Christian Church, and dozens of club gigs in the Boston and the greater Hartford area. Accolades include winning multiple scholarships for college, competing in the national NAACP Act-So competition and winning the bronze medal in music composition in his second year at the program. Dylan's teaching style is informed by his own musical journey, teaching his students the music they want to play while also learning the theory of what makes these songs so enjoyable.
