Get to know Eleanor Van Pelt

I grew up in New Jersey and studied at the French School of Music in Plainfield during my high school years.

Continuing at Manhattan School of Music under Robert Goldsand's

instruction in piano, I graduated with a degree in piano performance.

My master's degree is from the College of Saint Rose, where I also obtained a certificate

of piano pedagogy. I was a Music Director at Christ Church United Methodist in Troy, where I was Handbell Director as well as Choral Director.

My piano teaching experience was at the Albany Academies and at a private studio.

I also accompanied the College of Saint Rose Masterworks Chorale where I had an assistantship in accompanying.
