About Eric Chang

Eric Chang teaches beginner to advanced drums and percussion, ages 6 and up, balancing strong technique with an energetic and enjoyable approach to learning. His lessons are personalized to each student’s needs and develop the skills needed to become both a confident player and an effective independent practicer. Eric teaches jazz, rock, pop, Latin, and funk while incorporating music reading and theory to build well-rounded musicianship. He believes every student learns differently and adapts his instruction to help each individual make meaningful progress. Eric holds a Bachelor’s degree in Music Education and has been teaching since 2011.
