About Eric Jones

Eric Jones teaches beginner to advanced viola and violin, creating lessons that challenge students appropriately as their skills and confidence grow. His lessons typically combine scales, technique, and solo repertoire while adapting instruction to each student’s individual abilities and learning style. Eric teaches classical music and music theory, helping students develop strong fundamentals and expressive musicianship. He supports students working toward recitals, auditions, school performances, solo repertoire, or personal musical goals. Eric holds Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Viola Performance from the University of North Texas and performs with orchestras and ensembles throughout the Dallas-Fort Worth area.
