Performance Experience: I am currently playing professionally in a jazz combo, a blues/rock band and a 90's alt/grunge rock band. We gig in the local and surrounding areas.
Teaching Experience: I have been teaching piano to students of all ages for five years. I have experience teaching online and in person.
Teaching Philosophy: I believe in music and the power it has in bringing people together. Music gives us a unique way of expressing our thoughts and feelings in a creative, personal way. It can reach people in a deeper way than we can fully understand. Music is beneficial in helping people create pathways in their hearts and minds that create confidence, joy, and a sense of purpose and accomplishment. Each person has their own voice inside their soul. It is a privilege to help my students find their own voice!

I am a professional musician and teacher. I play piano and drums. I also compose original music. My influences include: classical, rock, jazz, blues, and contemporary styles. I have been playing music since childhood. I have an AA-T in Music from MSJC. I also have degrees in Liberal Arts, Humanities, and Communications. I have been teaching piano for five years. I also teach drums in the blues/rock, alternative/grunge and hard rock/metal styles. I love playing and teaching music and sharing my knowledge and experience with my students! ,
