Performance Experience: I have been performing ever since I was twelve years old on concert stages, football fields, and many of the surrounding Houston Texas venues. I also play for my church as well as sing and play drums at the same time.
Teaching Experience: I have been teaching with music and arts since 2012. I have had many of my students that began from nothing to inviting me to their first gig ever played on stage. I have also have students in my area make it to state finals for the school solo auditions.
Teaching Philosophy: No one is too anything to learn to play drums. Drumming being refer to being a language, most people have gone to school to be bilingual and learn a new language. Everyone can learn how to speak drum!
Get to know Ethan Flores
From a long journey and continuing up to this very day Drums and percussion have been both my passion and my calling. I have been playing drums since I was twelve years old. I grew up from then on in school band, in to marching band, and on into college jazz band. I have played on stage with many bands with their own original music along with a few cover bands with their own original music along with a few cover bands.
I have enjoyed teaching all ages and all skills levels, and I am looking forward to the next person who says yes to walking down the path of the art of drums and percussion.
