About Evan Martinez

Evan Martinez has been a classical cellist for 15 years and violinist for 6. He has performed with ensembles such as The Florida Orchestra and the Daytona State Orchestra, engaging with magnificent works such as The Unfinished Symphony by Schubert, and Piano Concerto in A minor by Grieg. Evan has studied cello privately outside of school learning repertoire spanning from Bach and Vivaldi to Fauré maintaining an affinity for baroque technique and performing with the Echoing Air Baroque Ensemble during his summers since 2022. 

Evan has also found immense joy and purpose in breathing new life into Operas both old and new, being a regular soloist in local churches, and expanding his experience in Musical Theater. Most recently Evan has has the joy of performing on stage with Andrea Bocelli.

Evan is currently at Stetson University, where he is completing his Bachelor of Music degree as a vocal major and and is preparing his next role in Hansel and Gretel.
