About Florela Matusa

Hi! My name is Diana Matusa. I am an accredited Suzuki violin and viola teacher, teaching students as young as 4 years old. A little more about myself is that I hold a Master of Music  having a Major in Violin, Orchestration and Aesthetics from Academy of Music ,( Faculty of Composition, Musicology and Music Pedagogy ) in Bucharest, Romania. I also  have over 26 years of violin and viola teaching experience.
 
I was a violinist with both the Radio and TV Orchestra and National Opera in Bucharest and also a traditional violin teacher at George Enescu High School of Music in Bucharest before coming to the United States. Sonce arriving, I played for ten years as first violinist with the Charlotte Philharmonic Orchestra and is currently playing with the Union Symphony Orchestra. I am also currently teaching also at Winthrop University!

I have enjoyed my time at Music&Arts and working with rising musicians and also musicians that look to grow after they have already started their music journey. I look forward to meeting you!
