About Francisco Munoz

Hello and welcome! My first contact with an instrument was with a keyboard my parents gave me. They soon noticed my musical interest and eventually took me to piano lessons at age 9. After a couple of years I decided to give the guitar a try and I’ve been playing it ever since. At the beginning I was happy just learning a few songs from my favorite rock bands at the time. After hitting my first learning roadblock, a friend suggested to me to take lessons with a classical guitar teacher. By doing that I was immediately introduced to a new world of music and was mesmerized by the possibilities and beauty of classical guitar. I continued to learn other styles throughout the years like flamenco, traditional American and Latin American. My other passion has become composing new works for solo and ensemble guitar, and by now I have produced 2 full albums and 1 EP album. It’s now a pleasure to be a part of the Music & Arts team and I look forward to meeting you for guitar lessons.
