About Glenn Hillard

Glenn grew up in Cincinnati Ohio and studied music starting at an early age. He studied music at Asbury University and received a BA degree. Also, participated in music courses at Anna Maria College. He has lived in Worcester Massachusetts for over 30 years performing and teaching piano in the area. Glenn established his own private music business for many years from which he taught piano and performed in various venues. He worked with many students over the years to teach piano and presented them with opportunities to perform in recitals and other venues. Some students have gone on to music careers such as teaching, music composition, and church worship leaders. He is dedicated to teaching basic piano and keyboard skills, different music styles, music theory, improvisation, song writing, and performance technics. He has an engaging, patient, and encouraging teaching style for children and adults. His goal is to create an enjoyment and long- lasting love of music.

Glenn is also a singer, songwriter, and piano player who performs American vintage jazz, ragtime, gospel and blues at coffeehouses, restaurants, retirement communities, festivals, music stores, churches, and art shows, etc. He released his debut album in 2014, “A Road Less Traveled” and is presently working on a new recording project to be released soon. Glenn enjoys playing his vintage style music in various settings always respectful and sensitive to all beliefs and traditions, always to encourage and uplift.
