Get to know Matt Grady
Matt Grady is a Raleigh native and highly active musician through the Southeastern US. At 18 he went on the road with local soul, jazz legend Puncho Forrest and has in the decade since been a part of a diverse array of musical acts through central NC. Guitar, bass, vocals, and songwriting are the skills Matt equally divides among the various, bands, artist, and churches he plays for.
He currently plays and records for many different acts around the area including Ashley Larue Band, jAndr, and Wake Moody. You can catch Matt and band playing many of the finest venues and hottest festivals around including The Pour House, Motorco, The Art of Cool Festival, and the NC State Fair. He brings over a decade of practical teaching experience to the table and has specialized in coaching young musicians and bands into the highest levels of performance and songcraft. Matt's students have performed at the Lincoln Theatre, the NC State Fair, and numerous city-wide festivals and special events to crowds of thousands.
Matt lives in Raleigh with his high school sweetheart and wife Krystal and their two kids Maceo, and Josephine.
