Get to know Greg Hiser
Greg Hiser has been a freelance musician and private instructor in the Northern Virginia area for the past 26 years. Currently he serves as associate concertmaster of The McLean Orchestra, principal second violin of Trinity Chamber Orchestra, electric violinist of Fuse Ensemble, and violinist of Carina Trio.
Mr. Hiser performs regularly at Wolf Trap National Park for the Performing Arts, The Basilica of the National Shrine, The Kennedy Center, and with the Arlington Philharmonic Association.
Greg has played bluegrass, country & rockabilly, progressive rock, and jazz fusion with his bands New Mountain, Virginia and the Blue Dots, and the highly acclaimed Boud Deun.
Prior study of note has been with Nancy Luttrell, associate concertmaster of the Wichita Symphony, and James Caeser and Andrej Grabiec, concertmasters of the Wichita Symphony.
