About Hayley Jensen

Hayley Jensen is a clarinet teacher who works with beginner to advanced students, creating structured, positive lessons where students are encouraged to grow while enjoying the learning process. She specializes in orchestral, solo, and chamber clarinet, tailoring her teaching approach to each student's individual needs while fostering confidence and healthy musical development. Hayley believes stepping outside of one's comfort zone is an essential part of becoming a stronger musician, but also emphasizes the importance of playing for enjoyment alongside auditions and performances. Whether preparing for recitals, ensembles, competitions, or personal musical goals, students receive thoughtful, individualized instruction. Hayley holds bachelor's and master's degrees in Clarinet Performance, is currently pursuing a doctorate, has served in the U.S. Army Band, and continues to perform professionally as a freelance musician.
