Teaching Philosophy: Heathyr believes that music can have a powerful positive impact in the lives of students of all ages and abilities. She believes in making lessons fun and innovative and enjoys collaborating in new and creative ways that propel the student to reach their full potential.

Get to know Heathyr Rogers

Heathyr Rogers has instructed Piano students since 2013 and has just completed her second year of instruction at the Music Makers Live Studio in Virginia Beach, VA. She holds a Bachelor's Degree in Music from the University of Redlands and performed under Steve Allen Fox with the Golden State Pops Orchestra in Los Angeles, CA from 2002-2004. She also served as a Junior High and High school accompanist for 10 years. In 2018 she relocated to Virginia Beach and served as the choral accompanist for Great Neck Baptist Church from January 2019-August 2022. She performs regularly for concerts and special events as an accompanist and vocalist and has also served as the Praise and Worship leader on JEBLC-FS for Women of the Chapel's military spouses. She is excited to begin her new chapter in Georgia and join the team as a Music & Arts instructor. She looks forward to nurturing students of all ages and abilities in their musical growth!
