About Helen Evans

Helen Evans is a voice and piano teacher who is passionate about nurturing confident, expressive musicians in a supportive and encouraging environment. She believes every student has a unique voice and musical path, and she is dedicated to helping each individual grow both technically and artistically.

Helen holds a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Southern Mississippi and brings a well-rounded background in music education and performance. Her experience includes teaching Elementary Music (K–5), Middle School Chorus and General Music, serving as a Director of Church Music Ministries, and working in Community Theatre. She also maintains an active private voice and piano studio, working with students of varying ages and skill levels.

Known for her warm teaching style and student-centered approach, Helen blends strong musical foundations with creativity and encouragement. Her goal is to create a positive learning space where students feel motivated, capable, and inspired to develop a lifelong connection to music.

Helen is the proud mother of two adult sons, daughter in laws and 4 beautiful grandchildren.
