About Hyewon Yoon

Hyewon Yoon is a violin teacher who works with students of all ages and experience levels, from complete beginners to advanced performers. Her lessons focus on developing strong technique, beautiful tone, sight-reading skills, music theory knowledge, and expressive musicianship in a supportive and encouraging environment. Hyewon believes every student learns differently and tailors her teaching approach to each individual’s goals, helping students build confidence while fostering a lifelong appreciation for music. Whether preparing for recitals, auditions, school orchestra performances, or simply learning for enjoyment, students receive personalized guidance designed for steady growth and success. Hyewon holds both a Master of Music and Doctor of Musical Arts degree from the University of Maryland and brings extensive teaching and performance experience in solo, chamber, and orchestral settings.
