Get to know Ian or Mr.Latham

Hello! My name is Ian Latham and I am one of the lesson teachers here at music and arts and I am also the percussion instructor for the Lewisville high school band. I currently attend Winthrop University and I am in my senior year. I am trying to get my degree in music. I have been playing music since I was 12 and I play many instruments, my primary being flute. I can play flute, clarinet, saxophone, oboe, percussion, bass, and guitar. I have played in many concert ensembles since I was 12 including the Winthrop university wind symphony, commercial music ensemble and woodwind quintet. I also marched with an indoor percussion group called Civitas where I played bass guitar. One of my joys is teaching people about music. It is one of my great joys when I see people fall in love with playing music.
