Get to know Indigo Farmer
Indigo earned a bachelor's in piano performance and a masters in music composition from CU Boulder. She taught piano privately on the side of her studies for 4 years. She combines creativity with developing form, harmony, ear training, and reading skills. With a background in composition, she aspires to give students basic tools to perform, create, and explore whatever kinds of music inspire them. Indigo is familiar with classical piano repertoire beginning through advanced. She uses the Piano Adventures method at the beginning and then branches out to include accessible pieces of the student's choice.
