About Isabel Lee
Get to know Isabel Lee
Isabel Lee holds a B.A. in Criminology and Criminal Justice with a minor in Music Performance under the direction of Chris Gekker from the University of Maryland, College Park. In addition, she is currently pursuing her Master of Arts in Teaching at Towson University.
Before undergrad, Isabel not only played alongside the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra but also sat as the assistant principal trumpet in the Peabody Preparatory Youth Orchestra. She also played at the Midwest Clinic, appearing in recordings from Centennial High School Wind Ensemble. At UMD, Isabel played in the Wind Ensemble under the direction of Andrea Brown and the Wind Orchestra under Michael Votta.
Isabel has been playing the trumpet for over 15 years and has over 7 years of experience teaching elementary and high school students. Isabel ensures all her students reach their full potential, whether that be growing their passion for music or passing auditions to play in bands or orchestras. Many of her students have been accepted into various GT bands and higher-level bands.
Besides teaching, Isabel has been an active freelancer, performing in various gigs across the Baltimore/Washington area.
