About Isaiah Ayansola

Get to know Isaiah Ayansola
My passion for drums started at the early age of 3. When the church drummer would leave the drum-set area I would always rush to start making a beat. In my adolescent years I took a trip to the Newark Museum where the guide revealed to me that it was in my family's blood to play drums. Just an interesting fact about me my last name "Ayansola" means family of drummers and "Drum Deity has brought me wealth". One of the reasons I joined Music&Arts is to challenge myself in teaching what I know to other students, inspiring them to be more creative and to express themselves behind the kit. Also one of my siblings told me " If you don't know how to teach someone else what your playing then you haven't really mastered drums." I dissected this statement realizing its truth, and accept the challenge of not only making myself better, but helping out others throughout their musical journey. I can teach a myriad of different styles like rock, African music, jazz, etc. I currently work with various groups to diversify myself as much as possible.
