About Ivonne

Ivonne Vega graduated from University of Chihuahua with Bachelor of music degree with a concentration in violin. Now living in Titusville, FL. Ivonne had the privilege to be part of the Philharmonic Orchestra of the State of Chihuahua for nine years. She had performed nationally and internationally with different music ensembles such as the Philharmonic Orchestra of the State of Chihuahua in a tour in Mexico, November 2010; “Grupo Latinoamerica” in the Nan Yin International Folklore Festival Taiwan, October 2014; “Mariachi Aguilas del Internacional Nuevo Chihuahua” in the Mariachi Navideño tour performed in Albuquerque, NM.  She has recorded a CD with “Cuerda al Aire” string trio ensemble where her performance specialties include a wide range of styles as classical, country, mariachi, folk, rock, pop and jazz . 

As for teaching style, Ivonne is able to teach a wide range of skill levels; although particularly likes to include basics and advanced techniques as well as music theory. Her education, skills, and background show more than 10 years of experience involving teaching individuals, small and large groups. In the past, she has conducted orchestras populating 100 students from community programs. This experience has allowed her to improve her communication, leadership, and teamwork skills.
