Get to know Izzy Ross
Izzy Ross is a drum set teacher who works with beginner to advanced students, creating lessons that balance strong technique with creativity and fun. They guide students through rudiments, sheet music reading, drum grooves, music theory, and songwriting while exploring styles like jazz, pop, and rock. Izzy takes a student-led approach, encouraging students to bring in songs they enjoy and building confidence through patience and positive support. Lessons focus on helping students grow as musicians while feeling comfortable to ask questions and be themselves. Izzy earned a BFA in Instrumental Performance from the University of the Arts in 2024 and has four years of teaching experience.
