Jacob is a trumpet player originally from Tacoma, WA. As a performer, Jacob has worked as a freelance trumpeter/brass player for half a decade now and played with groups all over the northwest. From Olympia Symphony as their interim principal trumpet, Olympia chamber brass, Ranier symphony, Lead trumpet for The Night Gig Big Band, Tacoma Community Orchestra, Harbor Winds, and has been a featured soloist at many different venues. Grounded in the teachings of mentors and theory from figures like Dr. Greg Youtz and Dr. John W. White, Boseley's music bears the mark of his diverse influences and personal flair. Jacob maintains an active performance schedule with big bands, orchestras, and various chamber ensembles throughout the area.
