Teaching Experience: Eddie has taught a wide range of private students on saxophone, clarinet, and flute from beginners to advanced high school students going through the college audition process. He has given clinics for high school saxophone students at schools in Baltimore and Howard County. Currently, Eddie is finishing a degree in Music Education from Towson University working with students at all grade levels in classroom settings.
Teaching Philosophy: Eddie's teaching philosophy revolves around students guiding their own learning through developing critical listening skills and personal reflection. He want to give my students the tools that they will need to be well-rounded musicians that can adapt to and play within multiple styles and genres at a high level on their instrument. Students are encouraged to participate in selecting the method book or repertoire that we work on during lessons to help guide their own instruction.

Eddie DeGrange is a saxophonist and educator from the Baltimore area. He has been playing saxophone for 10 years, clarinet for 14, and flute for 3.
Eddie is an experienced performer in a wide variety of ensembles and genres ranging from wind ensembles to pit orchestras. He attended Towson University where he studied with great saxophonists and woodwind doubles such as Jason Rigby, Aaron Irwin, and John Thomas. During the pandemic, Eddie has taken advantage of multiple virtual platforms to find the best ways to engage students in their musical experiences and allow for all students to set and meet their personal music goals.
