About James Edwards

We would all like to believe our children will become the next superstar! They may become one. However, I thoroughly know this is part of their overall training in life. So, I am all about encouragement in life, while making music of the exercises. I have performed on stage, toured or played in bands on 22 different Instruments during my life of Sales and Marketing management, teaching and retail life experiences.

As a teacher I strive for excellence in performance concentrating on rhythms and sight reading. Understanding the student’s motivations, giftings, hopes, and fears is as important as teaching the instruments.  So, I attempt to be an extremely positive influence in their lives. I ask students to learn who they really are:  I’m Quick! I’m Sharp! I’m Bright! I’m Smart! I’m Rich and Good Lookin’ and a Major Blessing!

Lessons and mistakes should be fun, so I keep it very light! Having lived through thousands of performances (some terrific, some embarrassing) it is very important students have a positive experiences every time they are in front of audiences.
