In 2013, he graduated from the University of New Hampshire with a B.A. in Piano Performance. James is always fascinated by professional musicians who come from diverse genres such as Classical, Funk, Hard-bop Jazz, Rock, and Metal. “The guiding method of my teaching is to approach each student with patience & encouragement. The exercises I work on with students are direct links to improving their senses of rhythm, harmony, and melody. The stronger the musical foundation, the more comfortable the student is at playing music. My own practice is driven by the exact same concepts I enjoy teaching.” James’s interests outside of music include, Eastern & Western Philosophy, Acting, Physical Fitness, and Classic American Literature.
