Teaching Philosophy: One definition of music is...vocal or instrumental sounds (or both) combined in such a way as to produce beauty of form, harmony, and expression of emotion. As a music teacher my job is to introduce each student to musical form indicated by written notes and symbols that are organized to create melodies with harmonies that become memorable and hopefully pleasurable. Introducing students of every age to the wonderful world of music is a highlight of my life.
