About Jason

When I was 10 years old my brother introduced me to Satriani, Yngwie, Vai. Back then there was no Internet or Youtube or any real way to learn how to attempt to play that way. The advanced guitar playing I loved to listen to was like this mythical secret that only certain people ever figured out. So I became determined to learn this mythical magic and thus began my obsession with guitar and music in general. Since then, my interests have bloomed to include, Jazz, Fusion, Blues, and of course Instrumental rock. I tell students to notice all the "music" that is in the background. Take notice of the pitch of your microwave oven, the chime of your dishes, even the pitch of human voice. I look forward to meeting you and offering you my best teaching abilities to help you on your own personal music journey!
