Performance Experience: I have been performing live for 26 years in all manner of venues, from the clubs of the sunset strip in California to dance halls in Oklahoma and everything in between.
I perform with my own band The Hushdpwb aswell as vaudeville acts, musicals and various cover bands.
As well as live performance I compose music for Film and television.

Teaching Philosophy: It is my opinion that music is a language that transcends all aspects of life and the borders of both the mind and geography.
Music is also a wonderful door to creativity and engages the mind in a way nothing else can, be it listening, learning or playing music.
It is also a life long endeavor that enriches the mind and soul.
Get to know Jeremy Hicks-Kachik
Jeremy has been teaching for over 20 years. He is a multi instrumentalist specializing in Guitar, Bass, Banjo, mandolin and many other stringed instruments.
He teaches with a focus on musical growth, creativity and individualizing lesson plans. Jeremy teaches a myriad of styles, techniques and genres.
Jeremy is a graduate of Musicians Institute in Hollywood Ca., While in Los Angeles Jeremy was a working sunset strip musician and his band has done multiple tours of the United States.
In addition to his own band Jeremy also plays a great deal of Orchestral and pit work, session work with other bands and work on film and television.
