About Jeremy Smith

Jeremy Smith is our brass and woodwind instructor here at Music and Arts in Biloxi, MS.

Mr. Smith earned his Bachelor of Music in Music Education (2007) and his Master of Music in Music Education (2009) degrees from the University of Mississippi.

Mr. Smith has been the head director of a middle school band and an assistant director of a high school band for the past 15 years. Prior to becoming the wind instrument instructor at Music and Arts, he also taught high brass lessons as an adjunct instructor at Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College in Perkinston, MS.

While his primary instrument is the French horn, he is well versed in performing every instrument. He’s had students of every instrument earn places in regional and state-wide honor bands. His bands have also consistently earned superior ratings in both concert and sightreading at concert band festivals.

Mr. Smith is excited to be the wind instrument instructor at Music and Arts. The Mississippi gulf coast has some great musicians!
