About Jerome Faison

Jerome Faison II, born in Columbia, SC, was raised as an Army brat as son of a retired US Army Colonel and a Poet & English Professor. Jerome has lived all across the United States and even abroad in Seoul South Korea. He is a full-time early childhood educator, but his first love and passion is working as a skilled sound engineer and a professional drummer. Jerome’s experience in percussion range from classical to contemporary music: jazz, gospel, and R&B. His musicality proves him with a natural talent. Though he has been playing drums since he was four years old, Jerome’s been an avid student working hard to perfect his craft along the way. He’s played in school concert, jazz, and marching bands as well as professional ensembles on military bases, in various states, and even in South Korea. Jerome has been taught by some of the country’s top percussionists and band directors. His amazing skill as a drummer makes him a highly sought after drummer and percussionist. Jerome’s expertise and professionalism in sound, music production, and the music and entertainment industry have led him to perform on live stages with some of today’s top artists and musicians. He is a lifelong student of the drums who loves playing, performing, practicing, teaching, and creating music that both soothes and saves. Jerome believes in the power of music and that it can change lives one at a time. He has tremendous experience on the snare, full drum set, and various other percussion instruments.
