Teaching Experience: Jimmy started teaching guitar lessons in 2016. He specializes in songwriting, arranging, and composition. He picked up ukulele in 2019 and teaches ukulele lessons as well.
Teaching Philosophy: Jimmy believes in prioritizing fun and creativity with teaching. Because music is a form of self expression, Jimmy caters differently with each student to help find their own unique form of sound.

Jimmy has been playing guitar since the age of 14.
At Cal Poly Pomona, Jimmy studied classical guitar under Peter Yates. He also briefly studied jazz guitar under Buzz Gravelle towards the end of his graduation year. He received his Bachelors of Arts in Music Performance in 2017, majoring in classical guitar. Jimmy has experience with various playstyles, ranging from acoustic to electric guitar.
