Performance Experience: JoAnn McConnell graduated with her bachelors degree in music education at the University of Akron and went on to get her masters degree in percussion performance at the University of Illinois in Champaign Urbana. She taught in public schools for 20 years and worked with many marching bands and private students in the area. She currently plays with the Tuscarawas Philharmonic and the Ashland symphony.
