      Teaching Experience: Over 15 years teaching and running a lesson studio for students of all ages.
      Teaching Philosophy: Know your instrument, learn to play, love to play. Focus on being a musician, not just someone who plays guitar.

      Joe Confessore teaches guitar, bass guitar, and voice, offering personalized lessons designed around each student’s interests, goals, and learning style. He focuses on helping students understand how to play, building strong skills in technique, reading music, and improvisation while keeping lessons fun and music-focused. Joe specializes in rock and blues, and encourages students to step outside their comfort zones to grow as musicians and gain confidence in any musical setting. He brings a supportive and motivating approach to every lesson, helping students develop independence and a deeper understanding of music. Joe has over 20 years of teaching experience, along with more than 50 years of performing, writing, and producing music.
