About Joel Garber

Joel Garber is a clarinetist and music educator with a passion for helping students grow through creativity and performance. He holds a Bachelor of Music in Education and Music Performance from Pittsburg State University and is currently pursuing his Master of Music in Performance at Texas State University.

Joel has worked with students across all grade levels, teaching band, general music, and private clarinet lessons in several school districts throughout Kansas, Missouri, and Texas. He has performed with ensembles including the Southeast Kansas Symphony Orchestra, Pinnacle Winds, and Four State Symphonic Winds, where he also won the ensemble’s Concerto Competition in 2025. Whether he’s teaching in the classroom or performing on stage, Joel strives to make music engaging, expressive, and fun for every student.
