About Jack King

Jack King has been a professional guitarist for 45 years and has been teaching private guitar lessons for 30 years. He is a veteran of several thousand live performances, in genres spanning rock, jazz, funk, soul, and Americana, and has taught hundreds of students. Jack can be seen playing live with Greensboro's Brice Street Band and heard on their new album, Wear and Tear. Jack also performs live with Eric and the Chill Tones. He has been featured on CDs by The Matt Kendrick Unit and The Dave Cecil Band. Jack enjoys teaching students at all stages of development, from beginner to advanced. He tailors his lessons to his students' musical interests while also ensuring they receive a solid musical foundation. From learning how to play favorite songs, to music reading, music theory, and soloing and improvisation, Jack makes his guitar lessons fun, but also challenging.
