About Jon Burgess

Hi there, I'm Jon!

I graduated with a double major in Music and Sociology from Biola university in 2020 and after four years back home in Arizona, I have returned to Southern California to teach!

My main instrument is Trumpet and I've been able to have some wonderful experiences while playing it (while in college, I got to record at Warner Brothers Studios and received instruction from some incredible musicians-  including the man who plays first trumpet for the Star Wars movies!)

Additionally, I am able to teach beginning Baritone and French Horn.

My hope is to teach students that music is not only something to be passionate about but can also serve to be a form of relief from stress and the daily concerns of the world, hope you'll consider taking lessons with me!
