About Jonathan Zutt

Mr. Jonathan Zutt is a piano and drumset musician, experienced in classical, jazz, and rock styles. He began studying classical piano at age 6, and later embraced jazz, influenced by legends like Elvin Jones, Buddy Rich, and Chick Corea. At age 15 he received his first drumset, sparking a passion that became his primary focus.

Mr. Zutt received his Bachelor of Music in Jazz Studies from Shepherd University, and is now pursuing a Master of Music Performance at Towson University. He has performed as a soloist and in a variety of music ensembles, including jazz big bands and combos, wind and percussion ensembles, marching bands, and rock bands. He currently provides piano accompaniment services to several local churches.

Mr. Zutt believes that dedication to the art of music performance stems first and foremost from a love of listening to music. His personal career aspirations were sparked by early exposure to records and live performances, the camaraderie that grows from collaboration in the musical arts, and the joy of audience connection during a performance.
