      Get to know Jonathan Zutt

      Jonathan Zutt is a drummer and pianist with a deep love for jazz, rock, and classical music. He started classical piano lessons at age 6, and later discovered his passion for jazz after hearing legends like Elvin Jones, Buddy Rich, and Chick Corea. At 15, he got his first drumset—and drums quickly became his main focus. 

      Jonathan earned a Bachelor of Music in Jazz Studies from Shepherd University. Since then, he’s performed in a wide range of settings, from jazz combos and big bands to wind ensembles, rock bands, and church worship teams. Whether accompanying a group or taking the spotlight, he brings energy, creativity, and musicality to every performance. 

      He believes great musicianship starts with great listening. His passion for music was sparked by classic records, live shows, and the sense of community that grows through making music with others—and it’s that same passion that drives his work as a performer and teacher today.
