Performance Experience: I've been performing music for over 13 years. I began performing in 4th grade in school ensembles. I began playing shows in bands in 6th grade, with my first professional gigs starting in 2012 as the drummer in rock bands. I've played everywhere from cathedrals, to outdoor amphitheaters, to underground punk venues. I've toured the east coast 3 times, and play out consistently most weekends, mainly as a drummer. Now, I'm playing in 6+ bands ranging from Upstate NY to the NYC area.
Teaching Experience: I've been teaching private lessons for 3 years.
Teaching Philosophy: I love enabling students to achieve their fullest potential in a way that works for them while also fueling their overall passion for music, while having an excellent time doing so!
Get to know Jordan Demarest
Hello! My name is Jordan, and I am a multi-instrumentalist and music producer living in Upstate NY, operation between the capital region and New York City. I play drums, guitar, bass, and keyboards (in order of experience) and I'm a professional studio engineer, live sound engineer, and mixing/mastering engineer. I've been teaching drum/guitar lessons for about 3 years now, and I love enabling students to achieve their fullest potential in a way that works for them. One of my favorite things is connecting with people over the language of music. I like to have fun and see the joy in all things, and this includes the work we do in my lessons!
