Performance Experience: Jordan Demarest is a multi-instrumentalist, audio engineer, producer; Nationally touring drummer and studio musician on numerous recordings; Studio engineer; Live sound engineer/stage technician; with extensive experience in multiple genres including but not limited to Rock, Hip-Hop, Jazz, Classical, and Electronic music.
Teaching Experience: I've been teaching at Music and Arts since Summer 2021, and began teaching as an adjunct professor in Fall 2023, at SUNY Schenectady and Skidmore College.
Teaching Philosophy: I love enabling students to achieve their fullest potential in a way that works for them while also fueling their overall passion for music, and having an excellent time doing so!
Get to know Jordan Demarest
Hello! My name is Jordan, and I am a multi-instrumentalist and music producer living in Upstate NY, operation between the capital region and New York City. I play drums, guitar, bass, and keyboards (in order of experience) and I'm a professional studio engineer, live sound engineer, and mixing/mastering engineer. I've been teaching drum/guitar lessons for about 3 years now, and I love enabling students to achieve their fullest potential in a way that works for them. One of my favorite things is connecting with people over the language of music. I like to have fun and see the joy in all things, and this includes the work we do in my lessons!
